Hi looking a bit of help with a problem. Basically I've got half my music collection on one pc and the other half on a laptop. Is it correct that I can only sync with itunes on one computer?

Is there any way around this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, you can't sync an iPod with 2 computers. By "sync", I mean automatically update your iPod with music in iTunes when you plug the iPod in.

    Ways around it:

    1. Move all your music onto one of the computers, and sync with that. If it's a space issue that's stopping you, get a cheap external hard drive, and put your iTunes library and music on that. This will also give you the advantage of being able to plug it into either computer.

    2. Turn off syncing and manually update your music from both computers. On the computer that it's currently synced with, click on the iPod under devices, click on the Music tab, and deselect "Sync Music". Then, on either computer, just drag the albums, songs, artists or playlists you want onto the iPod.

But I'm sure you thought of these already. Hopefully someone else will have a solution that suits you better.
