i dont seem to have much close friends even tho im popular enough and i wonder why? im a bit of an introvert and dont really take iniative so maby i should be more proactive but i tend to go with the mantra if people want to go out theyll give u a ring/text or watever. perhaps its coz im 'boring'(in the irish sense) in…

That's a mistake - i.e. assuming that people will call you to go out. In a friendship, you are expected to contribute to decision-making too, and should be throwing out suggestions and appearing eager to meet up. However, you mentioned that you're an introvert. I am one too and haven't ben inside a nightclub for around 7 years now. Do'nt end up like me. Be proactive and get out there
