I worked full time from September 2008 to March 2009, then I was unemployed.
I began receiving JSB in May 2009.
JSB ended in February 2010 and I applied for JSA.
Last week I got a letter to say I've a JSA interview on March 22nd (this monday.)

However, in a few weeks I am moving to London to begin a course which lasts 10 weeks. Then I am going to stay over there and look for work.

    1) Should I still go for the JSA interview? Is there any point?
    2) Am I likely to be entitled to FAS funding for my course in London?
    3) If I went for the JSA interview and they grant it to me, will I be able to to hold onto it while I'm in London?

    Thanks :)

You should go for it. If approved you will get your money backdated to February. Also you can transfer you dole to another European country for up to 3 months if looking for work over there, not sure if they will pay you it while doing a course though

You can transfer your Jobseekers Benefit abroad for 13 weeks after you've been receiving it here for 4 weeks but you can't do that with Jobseekers Allowance.
