Wisdom tooth removal options

    Hey guys,

I've been reading over the various posts about wisdom teeth and they have been very helpful I must say, but I have a couple of questions that I hope you can answer, to help put my mind at ease! :)

I have no insurance and really can't afford to pay privately, as I've been quoted around €900 to have 1 wisdom tooth removed.

My other option is to go through the hospital, and have it removed publicly, which will be around €300 (still expensive for me).

Are these my only options? I do work, don't live at home, and never applied for a medical card (would this decrease the cost?)

I've just been told a lot of bad things about having it removed publicly, like there is no aftercare, and I have to be awake, etc.

Thanks for any advice guys :)
