Pretty decent ep. - Greystone is well and truely onto Zoelon now, love all the little tests he gave her to try out her, the shooting the dog bit was extreme. I reckon she would hav shot the dog...she's NOT the real Zoe but a computer avatar, as such i doubt the "soul" was copied nor all the emotions.

One ep. left....better be good and a nice cliffhanger, 'cause waiting six months is a LONG time to keep fans.

Was not the whole point of BSG that the cylon's had just as much soul's as the humans ? And she said she would shoot daddy dearest. And wasn't he convinced at the end she was just a robot ?

outstanding episode, probably one of the best episodes of tv ive seen in a while, jesus the tension of each test he gave zoe, and when she twiched when the match went out i thought it was over, it gave an ever so slight indication she was there, but just made daniel push her further, he should know the robot could tell the difference between a loaded and unloaded gun, to absoultely confirm it he should have told her to kill the dog rather than shoot it, that way either the dog would be dead or hed know zoe was in there,

aslo will be interesting to see if josef continues looking for tamara, i hope he finds her as i think the caracter or tamara is fasinating, she should deffinately be in it more, i think maybe she has a bigger role to play than most of the cast and maybe TPTB are holding her back for now,

i dont know what sister clarice is trying to get out of amanda, amanda is hardly gonna spill the beans to her after all, and even if she did the STO have no chance of getting zoe,

I'm starting to believe that the Girl hanging around with josef is Tamara with someone else's avatar. I mean who is she if not Tamara? The little comment about her "not really looking like this" was a clue, me thinks.

Good episode but I hope they find Tamara and expose Zoelon at the start of the next one or something. The search for Tamara is dragging a bit.

jeez...I thought the religion was done ok in BSG but in Caprica it's like they got a couple of hobos in off the streets and asked them to write that part....

Best episode yet. Graystone pushing & testing Zoe to the limit makes for great tv.

I was watching The Green Mile the other night an could have sworn that Amanda Graystone was the mother of the two girls John Cofie was supposed to have killed. She looked younger but not any more attractive. Couldn't be arsed googling it.

If only Sam Adama could have killed her when he was supposed to ay. :cool:

Rubbish episode. Just like the entire show has been to date. No, I don't give a $hit about the stupid virtual world which is not real and no one should care about. No I don't give a $hit about Adama going on about his daughter being alive when he knows it was just a computer avatar and his annoying journey is taking up most of the episodes. No I don't care about Amanda Greystone's ghost brother which they are just using to try link in with BSG's Baltar and Six angels.

I know this is now BSG,I am not expecting it to be,but when I watch it I am just bored off my arse and wondering when it will end. Ill give it to the season or mid season finale,whatever one it is,if there is nothing decent I'm done with it.

I understand with any show that needs a big set up to take it in the direction they want there will be some procedural and boring bits, but something needs to happen in this show... and soon.

Don't get me wrong, I do really love the show and will continue to watch it... but 8 episodes in the can and nothing has really happened yet.

This wasn't a bad episode but felt like nothing was progressing. Even stalling in some cases.

Thats freaky cause I was thinking the exact same thing.

I don't think its so much of Josef's search for Tamara but its coupled with Daniels search for Zoelon and Amanda's search for her brother. So every main character is chasing something. They better fookin find it in the next episode.

I think they are going to pull a big reveal next episode if indeed there is a six month break. They were hinting that Tammy has changed somehow so I think there is going to be some big Neo style reveal next episode. Its interesting. Somehow we have to go from a situation where only one cylon works because a "human" psyche is in it to a situation with multiple robots. I wonder if Tammy and V-world has something to do with it. Apparently Tammy can alter the programmy of V-world Neo style. Perhaps she traps people inside and they then need robot bodies to get out again. Hmm perhaps Graystone has something to do with also.

I think its what really interesting about this show. They are exploring the possiblities of where technology not much more advanced could take us including the possiblity of cheating death maybe (in a way). And somehow they have to link that to cylons becoming their own race.

I'm with you on that. They are definitely going somewhere with the STO. To me, clearly virtual Zoe existing in v-world is life everlasting for the monotheists. This is how they are going to be sure heaven exists, so they can live infinitely after their real bodies die. Essentially you die in life and immediately your memories and life and personality are planted in your new v-body in v-world. My question is, who's pulling the strings (who is Clarice talking to in that 'confessional'

Yeah, this seems to be something important - although I cringe at the whole Neo/Matrix idea. I don't think Zoe is going to change her mind about thinking the cylons are a bad idea. Perhaps a more jaded Tammy from New Cap City will play a part in bringing the Centurions to "life"
Also, Tomas Vergis has something to do with this... am I the only one who thinks it's him paying the woman to help Adama?

I agree with this too... I think we're going to see that perhaps they should have seen all of this coming... interesting to see them tie in the "all this has happened before and will happen again" aspect.
Surge seems to have pretty intuitive AI already, what makes the difference between robots with good AI and cylons?

Oh ye,Ill do that just for you.Sorry i offended your love for the show but last time I checked I was entitled to by opinion and this is a forum for discussion where when I think it is crap I will say it is crap and the msot annoying thing is people like you whinging "oh don't watch it if you don't like it". Ill continue to watch as BSG was one of my favourite shows ever and Caprica is from the same people. Get over yourself.

yeah, not really impressed with joe adama in newcapcity, i know the show is more or less using his naivity to the artificial world as a way of showing the audience how its working, but c'mon.. how much of a pussy do ye have to be to wimp out of shooting a transvestite in the face after he'she's just torn you a new asrehloe in front of a crowd of cheering emokids..

That is the answer to your question, the vast majority of people just aren't able to deal with killing another human being when they're looking them in the eye.

yeah i know, i know! but a game is still a game even if it looks as real as v-world is supposed to, ye still have to put yer googles on before ye go off to v-world, surely thats the only license ye need to take off the mask of humanity.
To me its just the exact same idea as logging into COD or L4D etc.. and running rampant with a shotgun or sniper rifle.

How long would you last in joe adamas position in say..call of duty, or some other first person shooter, or hell even WoW? not very long i think, and he's even managed to get himself all strung out on those eye-inhalers before he's actually had the guts to fire his weapon in self-defense, nevermind nerdrage!

I know everyone's different in those situation but he HAS to know its a game!

anyway, point was i wasnt too impressed with him, as an actor in that situation, maybe the writing's at fault, maybe the actor is. All i know is, i thought it could have been done a lot better than that.
