I have a word document with a date field that auto updates to the current date when the file is opened. If I click NO on exit when promted to save the document, the Word temp/lock file does not delete. This means that I or anybody else who tries to edit the doc from that point on cannot do so. If I save the document the lock file does delete. Can I get the lock file to always delete whether or not I save the document?
