lads - I've pretty much been a hairy git all my life and hate it.
I have trimmed the bits n' bobs myself for years but am now thinking of going for an all over de-hairing bar whats left on my head

    anyone else done so ?

    any pro's cons ?

    Thanks
    Rob

You realise the hair will grow back very prickly? Just like stubble?

This is wrong with the "modern day man" Really shaving all yer body hair, does that not seem a bit feminine? I'm a hairy bloke too, women don't care if they like you and you know what yer doing.

Or you could just go for it and do an online diary of pain and suffering :p

I'd trim my chest hair a bit cos theres a wierd patch right in the centre that grows way thicker than the rest so it looks like I have a big dirty chest, so that gets trimmed, do downstairs as well, but I wouldnt do anymore than that, I had to have one of my legs shaved once for an operation and when it grew back it was itchy as fcuk. since I had a full cast on I couldnt scratch it either, kept sticking things in there to scratch, not fun. Also lying in bed on stubble is a horrible sensation, trim but dont get rid thatd be my advice

Actually I think the above is what is wrong with the modern day man, so afraid of what everybody thinks that he doesn't do what he wants.

OP, if it feels good do it. But I would think shaving it off all over would be a lot of work, and bordering on torture the first few times it grows back. If there are certain areas that particularly bother you (shoulder hair always irritates me, for instance) then go for that first and see if it works for you.

thanks for all the insights lads

    just a few comments -

I'm not too worried what anyone else thinks other than my OH - she seems keen on the idea of my having a bare chest and undercarriage so I'm willing to give it a go for that reason alone ( anything that gets you more ;-) ), however I am plagued with a seriously hairy crack which causes me untold bother and lots of irritation - so thats the reason for that area

after that whats left ? arms and legs ? surely theres little to gain from having hairy legs as I cycle quite a bit and as anyone will tell you a fall with hairy legs is alot more painful as you have to pull the stones and sh*t out.

    again thanks for the input

women dont have a hairy chest because they are women

men have a hairy chest because they are men,

we will end up with loads of girly-boys as it wont stop at that,

next on the list will be make-up
