    Hi all,
Can anyone help me with the following questions for a friend as they cannot get through to the welfare numbers as there is a message stating calls are not getting answered due to the action against the state.

1.If paye workers get a pay decrease and the form asks for wage amounts for the last 4 weeks, how do you proceed? i e you would have to wait 4 weeks of the new level, otherwise you would get penailsed by them using the pre wage reduction values within the calculation.
Or can you get a letter from the accounts etc stating that from week whatever... this employees ascessible weekly income is €€€€ for the rest of the year bearing in mind that tax back is going to show slightly higher amounts for 2-3 weeks.

2.What is the maximum amount of prsa that can be claimed against the FIS?

    Kind Regards.

tell them to send in the form and then forward the employer section once they have completed the 4 weeks at reduced rates and a letter from accounts stating the dated the reduced pay started .The taxable amount of the PRSA will counted for fis purposes

    Hi yabadabado,

    Thanks for the reply.
When you say "The taxable amount of the PRSA will counted for fis purposes" does this mean that if €100 a week was done via prsa then net cost would be €40?

    regards

the amount the employee pays towards the PRSA will be assessed.it shows on some payslips as the difference between gross pay and taxable pay
