Another traktor prob, midi mapping

Having a bit of trouble with midi maping in traktor, hopefully someone here can help me!

I'm running an m audio xponent using the otto Armstrong Tsi, I've hooked up an x session pro also to have control of a 4 channel mixer so to speak.

When I attempt to map the x session to control the mixer for deck C and D, it also takes control of some parts of traktor along with the volume fader, like I raise the volume fader on deck C, it also adjusts the gain on deck A, it happens for all controls on the x session, but the different faders control other parts of traktor like the FX and such!

    Anyone got any help?

doesnt take long at all and its pish easy

I wouldn't have the patience to do it all, and I'm quite happy with the xponent mapping, i just got the x session pro as I didn't like having to flick the bank switch in the middle of a mix, just to be able to adjust an eq!

Does the x session pro have built-in mapping? Maybe you're writing over them, giving buttons more than one function. Try deleting all the mapping on the x session pro and then writing your own map. To check what's going on, go into the midi mapping panel and sort by the button, so you can see which ones have more than one function mapped to them.

No the xsession doesn't have built in mapping, i've just been over writing the xponent mapping, with the controls I want to use on the xsession!

Why are you overwriting the xponent mapping? Just leave the xponent as it is, and ad the X-Session as another MIDI controller, under generic midi or whatever. That's how I have my additional controllers set-up.

My xponent is mapped in a way you can switch between bank A(deck a-b) and bank B(deck c-d) So for all the controls for deck c-d I'm just clicking on the control in midi mapping, click learn, move the control on the xsession and then it changes the 'note' in the midi mapping page.

My problem is, the notes for the controls on the xsession all appear to be already in use, so when for example, I move the channel on deck c, the gain on deck a also moves!

    It's wrecking my bulb!
