    A friend of mine answered an ad on the FAS website for a Tour Guide - English and Russion Speaking. She has now got an e-mail back from the company, Solo Solutions Ltd telling her that she needs to sit an exam (fair enough) but she needs to pay €40 to order text books to prepare for this exam.

    Is anybody familiar with this company? Is this a scam? I can't find any website and just an address for them in Dublin 15 and she was only given a mobile number.

    I said I would try and find out some information for her before she hands over any money. Any information on this company would be appreciated.
