I've been trying to complete the Steady Aim perk challenge.

If I'm using Akimbo Pistols (e.g. G18's) with Steady Aim as perk 3, does every
kill with the G18 Akimbo count as Steady Aim kill?

    Cheers.

If your using Spas, you only get Steady Aim kill if you shoot from the hip AFAIK.

Whereas AKIMBO, you can't scope, therefore my assumption every kill is effectively a Steady Aim kill?

No man!! Get Sleight of Hand, and quick scope with the spas the same as you do with a Sniper rifle. Accuracy is beast! It's so quick with SOH.

One to use for the Steady Aim challenge is the AA12. That is a spray from the hip gun, so every kill from that counts. Others are the M1014 and the Striker.

I'd assume you are right about kills from the Akimbo G18's (or other MPs).

So SOH with sniper allows you to scope & reload faster?

Yes. I also did this challenge exclusively with akimbo UMP's.

I used Akimbo PP2000's for this challenge and got it done incredibly quickly. Just used them primarily for a while.

I reckon the PP2000's are the best machine pistols. I'm not really into akimbo for any weapons though.

Have you ever tried the Raffica (M93R)? It's like a FAMAS or M16 as it's burst fire. It deals the most damage of all the machine pistols, and personally I think it's the most accurate too.

Actually since starting this reply, I've decided I'm gonna run with it in a big way this prestige. We both love the ACR, and it's actually better than that weapon if you look at the stats. Better damage up close, and also over longrange, similar small recoil. Plus you get it at level 38 instead of 48, so that'll be me soon enough hopefully! I might actually try to use it as an effective primary when I unlock it this time. Certainly gonna get the 150 kills for that 8750XP.

Yes, I started using the Raffica last week. Very nice, but for close quarters combat, I found with the burst fire I was losing more 1v1 battles than I normally would - certainly compared to the PP2000.

True I guess. Might take some getting used to. Automatic fire on the PP2000 is nice advantage to have alright.

Acr seems like a good weapon its accurate but as for damage its not so good.I have proof that it fails miserably. :D

Yeah, it just does 30 damage, so if you run with the ACR you really need a powerful secondary for close encounters. Otherwise anyone with a 40 damage gun will most times in a shootoff. But it's great for mid range or where you get the jump on your opponent.
