    although this one is about helmets for skiers and boarders.

    the quote "You wouldn't ride a bike without a helmet, so I wouldn't ski without one" may evoke some responses!:)

    But the suggestion that they may be made compulsory for skiiers may herald them being made compulsory for cyclists (that's just my view).

    My own personal view is "yes to helmets, no to compulsion."
