Hello ,I thought I'd post a bargain here as I'm delighted with the purchase myself.
It's a small 8" shifter ,which is long enough for most compressions.

It's a bahco shifter and opens to a maximum of 38mm ,which means it easily fits 1" fittings.
I've found these spanners to be one of the best out there and normally they're expensive.

This one is less than €20 euro on amazon and if you order something with it ,you get free delivery.

Bahco 9031 ,8" shifter.
