Stayed up last night to watch a programme on RTE 1 at 11.10pm titled 'St. Patrick's Festival Highlights'.

It was described as 'Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain presents highlights of the patron saint's day celebrations from across the country' in all programme guides on the internet including the RTE website.

It turned out to be a look at the DUBLIN festival only! Not one single parade from around the country was shown.

Is this yet another example of RTE's Dublin bias or just gross incompetence when describing a programme?

They should have shown the Limerick one, there were tanks rolling up O'Connell St, although they're never around when we need them down here
