Speeding camera and Traffic light camera in one day!! ARGH :(

    So had to go to a work thing by Duesseldorf Airport, on the way there was driving along ..

    FLASH .. checked my tomtom .. speed limit was 100, i was doing 126 ... was slightly annoyed but you know ... it happens

    Then on the way home was driving through a junction, they guy in the car in front stalled his car .. got stuck behind him .. had a choice to either stay in the Junction or keep going *no space to reverse*

    So now i'm looking at an fine for speeding and for breaking a red light .. its either a 200 euro fine for the red light OR if it was red for 1 second its an 800 euro fine + 1 month driving ban.

    All in all an expensive paddys day .. will have to wait 4 - 5 weeks for the tickets to come :(

    On the upside i've an Irish license, so no penalty points.

    surely you could appeal that one though as it was the guy infront of you fault and you presumably would have passed the line while light was still green?

    Surely if you were "in the junction" before the light was red you would not get fined.

    Indeed .. but try disputing anything with the Germans .. They suddenly don't speak english anymore.

    depends what sort of junction it was, you arent supposed to enter unless your exit is clear in many cases...do the lotto...you must have used all your bad luck...
