There are a few, depending on the requirements for export licences and the like. I've bought rifles in England online. It's a good way to get things in.

You might want to try the following sites. If Eire is not listed in a drop down menu, try emailing their customer service. I asked Sports Mans' Guide if they would ship a thrower to Eire and they said yes. I think they quoted $150, however, for a 60lb item - not bad.

The problem with shipping to Eire is customs. Most companies do not want to deal with them.

Anyhow, for well priced (cheap) stuff check out
    http://www.sportsmansguide.com/
They have great prices on a lot of things. I like to stuff my backpack with items from them. Also, I get their: rubber boots, waders, calls,...

For items that I demand comfort like hiking boots and certain clothes, I like Cabela's stuff
    http://www.cabelas.com/
Watch their sales as they can be pricey. Now is the time to buy for next year's cold weather, blaze orange, and all. Check out the Mad Dog Gear - very good stuff.

Other sites that get an honorable mention, especially for ammo are
    http://www.natchezss.com/index.cfm and
    http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/default.aspx

Do you not have a cousin or someone stateside? Bits and pieces can be brought back quite easily. Otherwise, maybe find yourself a nice stewardess. smile.gif

I have a nice stewardess going for an after dinner speech, 6' tall, long blond hair, blue eyes, size 10, or so her mother tells me, 3rd level qualification.

One condition, you take her feckin sisters with her

Yep. Duffy's in Galway will post ammo with a copy of your firearms cert. Cost was €10 for delivery. It's a nice service.

You can buy ammo online only within Ireland. It would be much cheaper to buy in the US, but unfortunately nobody will send or sell any overseas
