End of Session Tunes

You know that moment at the end of a session when the suns up, your wrecked, your booze is gone, you've lost half your clothes/friends but you couldn't give a sh*t because this tune is unreal. Then the amps get turned off and ye just stand there thinking that that whole moment was perfect. You look around and everybody is just standing there with that same look on their faces. Post those tunes....

Always found 'Beautiful Morning' by Sensation to be quite fitting at the end of a session... look out the window and the sun is shining, move on to a few spliffs..

Yeah know what you mean - think it depended really on the situation though, in that if you were still up on something the sun didn't matter so much.

Remember coming out of Spirit a few times and it was bright, when they had the late licence, that was weird. And a line of jammers parked up on O'Connell St, bit like the Carlsberg ad :)

Bit of Leftfield or Massive Attack to finish off the night used to keep me happy, quality tuneage.

I started a thread on this on another forum actually, more for the bit when everyones head is too melted for anything else, but if ya stuck on chillout music it would be admitting defeat. Its an awkward time to navigate musically.

And the likes of orbital, massive attack etc.

Another I've played many a time (as have many others!) to end a set/session has been 'Smokebelch II' (D Holmes remix of course) which works a treat.... especially when played right through to the end of the track, stunning.

Pity the whole track won't fit with youtube time limits but the person who put this up cut the beginning so as to include the end....

You can't really beat belfast orbital or leftfield melt or future sound of london
Sunshine apt enough name for a track to be played when the sun is coming up... definitely one of the best tracks of all time:)

    Future sound of London definitely.

I would love to drop either of these as one of my last tunes in a set.
    Euphoric brilliance

2 of my very bestest favourites

    Aural "Desire"

    Atelier "Got to live together"

On a side note, I actually love the sun coming up back at sessions, was back in a party in the docklands on Thursday after the madness that was paddys day and the sun was shining and I fookin loved it

The bit in Human Traffic where they play Belfast by Orbital sums up that feeling perfectly. Can't find the clip on Youtube, but it's basically a panoramic view of the city from up in the hills looking down at the city at night and the sun comes up to the backing track of Belfast, fits beautifully. Great film too, it basically summed up my typical weekend during my full on clubbing days.

Great track, as is the A side No Stopping

This is a cracking end of night tune. :pac::cool:
