Tracing gas pipe.

    Hi Folks. I want to trace a gas pipe through my house. I have a rough idea where it goes. However I want the exact route.

    Its buried behind concrete blocks and in the ground.

    I cannot think of the device for doing this.... Dont say your eyes...

    ps: I intend staying away from it when working which is why i want to trace it. ;)

    Never done it inside a house like this but you could use a cat and jenny. Put the jenny on at the meter, and the cat should pick it up along the run of copper pipe.

    Cool. Thats exactly what I want. There is a lump of copper from the meter outside as well.

    Any idea on rental rates for these. Thanks
