Strange and scary little story from France. A game show has persuaded contestants to torture their opponents by electric shock … to win a game!

And I though you needed religion and or tribalism to being this kind of thing out in people .

    Why not Battle Royale?

It'd certainly solve the problem of Juvenile delinquency.

OP in your hurry to post bad threads you seem to have mixed up "Death" and "not Death". Just a heads up.

The show could be self funded, just like who wants to be a millionare , you ring a 1550 number and you too could be a stalker :D

Nominate Gerry Ryan as the first runner.

Read the link dude. This is the sub-title the program makers picked.
Anyway, what kind of a name would "Game of not Death be". Yeah, I'd deffo sit in and watch that! :pac:

It's not as good as the Dutch one where a dying man picked which candidates in a game show to leave his organs to. (also fake, obviously)

    .
    What‽

A film where a bunch of kids are taken from school and forced to kill each other is supposed to make kids go to school?

That would be about as effective as using the Ryan report to convince people to go to mass.

But those movies were about having respect, not about kids staying away from school. Agreed though that Battle Royale would be a very good, but far fetched thing to do in some schools, gets rid of the little knackers/skangers/scobes/scumbags that people have to put up with these days...

    Damn political correctness!

Apparently they are doing one with the Coronation Street cast so they might write that in!

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.
