High visibility vests

An FYI for those of you who need to buy high vis vests/Sam Browns for general purposes. Woodies do vests for kids selling at E1.99. But they are definately not kids sizes. The larger sizes age 6-8; 8-10; 10-12 will fit an adult no bother. I'm 5ft 11 and of average size and the age 6-8 fitted me perfectly.

Any of the adult equivalents I have seen range in price from E10 upwards; E20 in some cases. Fine if you are wearing them on site all day or whatever, but a bit of a rip-off otherwise. I thought the above might be useful for those of you who just need something for walking or whatever as they will serve exactly the same purpose, and for only 2 yoyo ;)

The reaosn the kids sizes may fit is that they are designed to go over a bulky coat. I bought some before & figured they were reduced as they were sized wrong, but when I saw them go over a coat (just!!) I realized they are mainly designed for the dark winter evenings.

I keep two or three in the car glove compartment as they are mandatory kit while driving on the Continent. Last one I got free of the Luas crowd! Never paid more than €3 for the rest!
