Stuck in a rut!

Okay this is a little confusing...
One of my best friends(lets call her sandra) reallly likes this guy whom she has only met a few times, but they text on a regular basis. However another friend-'Mary' told me during class that a friend of hers has fallen for her other friend(we'll call him Tom), but he only wants sex. No names were mentioned at the time but a nod of the head suggested that it was another girl-(NOT SANDRA), whom is somewhat notorious for leading guys on....now me, presuming it is this girl tells 'Mary' to not get involved as the girl is old enough to make her own decisions you see, Mary was confused because she didnt want to upset either Sandra or Tom, by telling either of them about how they really felt about each other. I may have mentioned this story to sandra in passing...not realising that she was in fact the girl mary was talking about..
Now, today Mary asked me did I tell Sandra or anyone else about what she told me about Tom because he text her, angry that it got back to Sandra that he only wants sex-I immediatly realised it was Sandra and Tom she was refferring to before, not the other girl.
Now Im worried that Mary thinks I told Sandra, Im also worried that it looks like I was being bitchy about Sandra...when I was actually referring to another girl whom I dont always see eye to eye with...also, Im now concerned about Sandra..maybe Mary is lying but Im still worried about Sandras welfare...

I know this is really confusing, but I would appreciate it if you could offer some of your advice, as this has me in a bit of a panic..thank you.

and Tom can't really complain, if he was planning to lead this girl on just for sex, knowing she liked him a lot more. Harsh!

Just try to stay out of it anyways from now on, for the sake of your brain
