This may not be of much benefit to you but I find it great.

When trying to zero in a scope this is what I do.

    1) Put the gun down on a table and do not move it (facing and close to a wall)
    2) Fire about 5 BB's and mark all areas on the wall that the BB hit.
    3) Get the average spot.
    4) Stick the scope on and zero the scope into this spot.

    Hope that helps.

don't take it apart. they are so fiddly. kinda like mags. i should point out that the zero screws have a cover on them so hope you are not tightening the cover.:D:D you probably aren't but just in case. the black cover screws off to reveal a silver screw with an arrow indicating left or down and by elimination the other way is right and up. thats for both screws. also if you are not tightening the cover then take the screw off completely and have a look inside might be dirty or just was sitting off the thread a little. after this i am stumped and would throw it out the window in a hissy fit:D:D
P.S i am selling a red dot green dot zeroed to perfection for a score. swiss arms model

Zeroing a scope is the process of aligning the axis of the scope to the axis of the barrel.
So when you look through your scope, red dot, eotech etc the point of aim of the scope and the point of aim of the BB match.
If you remove it from the AEG in question and mount it on another AEG the chances of the axis scope and the barrel matching one another are small
You may be lucky in that they are close and only require a small adjustment in both plains

So to summerise if a scope is zeroed to perfection on one AEG it does not follow that it is zeroed for all
