PSNI OR AGS

    Why do people from the south decide to go for the PSNI instead of the AGS


    Can anyone give advantages and disadvantages of both???????

    Im at a cross roads of what to do, (hold tough for the Garda, and still mighting get in (could take years), or go for the PSNI on there next recruitment campaign)

    They do, well I'm fairly sure they do - but you're not 100% guaranteed to get in the first time you apply. There are people on these boards that have applied 4 or 5 times, and still have had no success.

    O yes i know that but at lest id be getting somewhere, and if didnt get in the 1st time i would know what i have to improve on for the next time. so on and so on, but with the garda i could be waiting years to get one interview, im 22 like im pushing on ha, i just want to start a career asap
