    Press services

    Press 3 - parental control.

    Enter pin

    Press 2 - adult channels

    Select remove adult channells

Save.:D Now they no longer appear in the listings when scanning channels.

Why exactly do you not want him watching them?

Exactly, the Adult channels are soft core at best, there's much more available on line for him, do you keep him away from the pc/ lap top too??

I have Pin on Pre-Watershed Playback set to off. Yet it still asks me for the pin when viewing 12+ 15+ & 18+ movies during the day. You might wanna ring up sky about that. Or check to see if taking off the pre watershed pin works for you.

    Under Services>3.Parental Control>5>Other Restrictions.

Channels you remove under 2>Adult channels will still not be visible even if you remove the prewatershed pin.

Hello just tried that too still the same, yeah i will have to ring them to see surely you must be able to watch the Other Channels without a pin all the time. Must ring them to see, Thanks very much,:)

I took it to mean that the OP didn't want her husband to know that she watched them :)

but TBH they're a total waste of time unless you're a male aged 16 whose internet connection is heavily filtered!!!

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

"Have to hide them from the husband!!!!!!biggrin.gif Would like to be able to get rid of them channels "

That kinda made me think she didn't want him watching them?

On a non-plus Sky box at least, if you disable all adult controls you won't get asked for a PIN for Other Channels.

If you have adult channels hidden, you will be (in case someone tunes in a durty channel under Other Channels) and this is a right pain.

Best solution is to cancel your Sky sub and remove your card, get the UK EPG, and avoid the need to use Other Channels any more.

Haven't tried to hide adult channels again since we unsubscribed from Sky, but if this causes any hassles then the Sky box will be going in the recycle bin! The names of many of these channels, never mind the programme names in the EPG, are not what you want a child seeing (Mammy, what does 'A**l S**ts VI" mean?) and of course there's the free previews... but give it a while that stuff will probably be on TV3 at night

Some marriage that is!!! I doubt there is much need for the parental control anyway, he'd never break free from the ball and chains to reach the remote... :D:D:D

Aren't those 'free previews' on quite late, like after 23:00! Shouldn't children too young to see those sort of programs should be tuck up in the land of nod by then anyway!

Maybe the OP has a movie star history that she doesn't want himself to find out about? ;)
