I hope I've done this right anyway.

What I'm looking for is :
    • WiFi Enabled
    • 3G
    • 3 Inch Screen
    • Good Battery Life
    • Touchscreen or QWERTY keyboard, doesn't matter to me
    • Bluetooth
    • Not a Flip or slide phone

My price range is : Up to €150 ( might sound cheap but I'm a student )

I've been looking at Chinese models and I know there's a lot of criticisms of their quality control and indeed their idea of stacking them high and selling them cheap without necessarily checking the most important thing, quality.

However, I'm looking at this particular model : Odyssey - WiFi Quadband.
As it's not an iPhone clone, (these can be very dodgy indeed) I have the hope that it'd be quite good standard indeed.

I want the phone mainly for :
    • Entensive Internet Access
    • 'Blogging
    • Text Messaging
    • And Media Usage

I haven't the money for an iPhone yet but I seriously need a WiFi enabled phone because I have a fairly popular website and I want to update while on the move.

Is there anyone out there that has bought this exact phone It's apparently very popular amongst the Irish, or so the Chinese Chat Agent says, (probably Ivory Coastian Customers after all that! )

Anyway, would appreciate any help, recommendations or suggestions.
Again, I hope I've abided by the rules of the forum and done this right! :o

    Doocey

Considered it, but I'm looking to stray away from Nokia plus it's a little bit on the expensive side on Meteor!

    Cheers anyway.

Decided to go for it after asking a couple of Irish lads about their one.

Seems alright, considering it's not a rip-off of the iPhone or Blackberry.

    Will keep you updated :)

    Now, it came.

And I very very happy with it so far albeit only a day.

WiFi is great, iPhone interface but not a copy. Really good phone so far.
Paid €35 for import duty but still at €120 it isn't bad at all.

    Happy out (for now) :D
