Has anyone come across any good image/photo galleries for use with Wordpress? I have looked at the various plugins available but most dont look great.

What are people on here using or would recommend??

    Thanks

Hi guys, thanks for the replies. I came across that one before but it looked a bit plain. What im looking for is more a jquery slider type gallery. Or something that uses a lightbox script and would have thumbnails on the page in a gallery type layout. Most of the time id probably be looking at using it where a service/trade provider would want to display some images of their work like a portfolio of sorts.

Have a look on the Themeforest site where they have tons of demos and there are some excellent examples of sliders there in action using Jquery and some of the javascript libraries to support it.

Using this and some tweaking should get you what you are looking for on a site.

Thanks, I'll have a look at that for the future. For this particular project, Photocrati is going to fit the bill in terms of being easy to set up and manage for the user.

    No problemo...

Just make sure a 'specific' theme doesn't constrain you when they come backl looking for more.
