My JSB will run out shortly and i'm looking for some advice about the means test for JSA, i am 29 and still living with parents which is kinda sad i know but thats just the way it has to be for the moment while theres no work there, with me being 29 will they still enquire what incomes are coming into the house ? well my dad is retired but has a pension payed to him from a company he worked for many years and my mother doesnt work, will they want to know how much of a pension my dad is getting and will this make a difference in the payment i will recieve ?

hey:) they may still enquire, but as far as i know as long as you are over 25 what your parents earn doesn't affect your payment

Only if you are under 24. Above that age it you are purely assessed on your own means , so you will be fine.

    Don't be an ass FFS

OP your parents income will only be accounted if you're under 25, not 24.

    It's all explained here.
