    what does this mean? is this very bad. nurse said it was elevated

    firstly, there are many tests of liver function, so we dont know what one you are referring to

    secondly, noone on the internet can give you medical advice

    you need to discuss it with your doctor

    23 is fine. the nominal range is between 16 - 68.

    Nurse is just trying to put the ****s into you about your drinking. silly cuntt

    oh really??

    how do you know which of the myriad of liver function tests the nurse was talking about?

    I'm not qualified to answer this but depending on your age and the result quoted I would guess your liver well be ok as it takes a hell off a long time to knock a liver for 5.
    Check too the colour off your eyes unless their is a yellow tint showing your ok as a poor yellow is one sign off damage.

    PS Due to my own situation I did lots off research on this kind off thing but again do not take my words for anything other than face value.
