Gay in my dreams

Hi, This should probably go in sleeping and dreaming but i'd like to stay anonymous. This may sound a bit silly but I'm really confused about it. Basically I keep having dreams in which I am a lesbian, and one particular person keeps popping up. Someone who is just a really good friend who i've known years. We are a couple in my dreams, doing things couples do. Then I wake up and am really happy for some reason. But I am not attracted to women, I always notice a pretty girl like I would a gorgeous bloke but I love men!! it's so strange has has me questioning could I be gay or bisexual? I know it's just a dream but I'm wondering what could my subconscious mind be saying to me.

This doesn't mean anything really. All it shows is how creative the brain can be: In dreams, thought-processes/memories from numerous sources combine into one 'dream', and that's why they can seem so weird. I've had gay dreams before too but I know that they are meaningless. I am 100% confident that I am heterosexual. Dreams of this nature in no way indicate any subconscious notion that you are gay/bisexual.

Some will disagree with me, but they're wrong.

I'd add that there is a big difference in dreaming about being in a platonic, couply relationship with her and dreaming about having sex and eating her out. I'd say it just indicates some measure of affection more than sexual interest.

The only one really qualified to interpret your dreams, is you. It could mean anything from a desire for an intimate relationship with someone that is as good as the friendship to this person to possibly a latent desire for this girl (unlikely) as what happens in dreams is very rarely a direct manifestation of our desires!

In my dreams I've variously been an FBI agent, a bank robber, a woman, a small child again, married to a friend, an American soldier in Bastogne in 1943 and who knows what else that I can't remember right now. It doesn't mean I'm any of those things in real life or have any more significance than a jumble of what I've seen, done or thought about during the day.

    From Dream moods
    Homosexual
To dream that you are homosexual (but you are not in your waking life), represents a union with aspects of yourself. It is symbolic of self-love, self-acceptance, and compassion. If you are un comfortable with homosexuality in your dream, then it suggests some fears or anxieties about your masculinity (if you are male) and femininity (if you are female). You may be experiencing some insecurity in your relations with the opposite sex

In general, all the people in our dreams are supposed to repesent ourselves

I've heard that having dreams like that is your subconcious showing that you admire or are envious of the person who you dream about. I've had dreams like that too but I'm definitely straight!
