I am really hoping someone can advise me on this...

basically I have been on job seekers since september ish... i was means tested and as a result receive 179 per week as 17 euro is taken away because I live at home with parents. the situation was that my father was the sole earner in the family. I am working part time so i fill in the yellow slip every week.

over the last 2 months things have changed as my mum and i had to move out, we have moved to a different house but in the same area. I didnt notify the social welfare office straight away because i guess i still see the other house as being my home too because my father lives there.

now the problem is that my father has stopped giving my mother any maintenence and she doesnt have a job herself. she has to take him to family court to sort out the maintenance, but i guess what i am wondering now is whether i should call in to the SW office to inform them that my situation has changed, do you think its likely that i would have my 17 euro added back onto my weekly cheques? by doing this will i be affecting my weekly cheques as i really cant afford to have them stopped....

    many thanks :)
