Hey i am looking for artists canvases in Dublin. I have been to some of the shops around and the canvases all seem really expensive. Does anyone know of where I could find quality canvases at a reasonable price ?

    Thanks

I got artists canvases of a group selling them in Dublin. There prices were really reasonable and the quality was good. I saved their prices which they sent me in an email. Here they are>

    Blank Canvas :

    W 50cm(20'') x L 50 cm(20'') €12:00
    W 60cm (24”) x L 40cm("16) €14:00
    W 60cm (24”) x L 60cm (24”) €16:00
    W 80cm (31”) x L 100cm (39”) €19:00

    Canvas Panel:

    W 40cm (16") x L 40cm (16"), €7:00
    W 60cm (24") x L 60cm (24") €9:00

They are much cheaper than anything I could find in the shops.

    PM for email contact details

If you want to go large and cheap, making your own canvass might be a better option. You can get canvass and primer in Evans (off Capel Street) and wood for a frame in Lenihans (Capel Street) or Chadwicks (Thomas Street).
