Anyone used Our Little Secret [makeovers.ie]?

    Hey,

    Has anyone had any dealings with Our Little Secret [makeovers.ie]. I've been trying to ring them since last week but there phones seem to be always forwarded to a message center.

    It's my mum's birthday soon. She likes to be pampered so I wanted to get her a nice package. But trying to deal with this company is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Just wondering if they are worth the effort of trying to give money to.

    Anyone used them?

    Hmm have you emailed them or rung Melissa's mobile (taken from the ourlittlesecret.ie website 00 353 86 8458598 or fakeit@OurLittleSecret.ie) ?

    I have had swift replies over email from Melissa and I went to her studio last Wednesday to have my extensions adjusted. She really helped me out when I couldn't find any salons near me (Meath) who'd do this - they all refused because they didn't fit the extensions themselves. I have nothing but praise for Melissa - she's a really lovely lady and an excellent hair extensionist.

    Give your money to someone who wants it! I always find it amazing that companies don't follow up leads in this day and age!

    Hi, after reading your thread I felt obliged to give my experience
    I have also used our little secret and after alot of attempts I finally got through to them and arranged an appointment. She was very helpful and came to my house to put extensions in. As the extensions are 'micro-ring' hair extensions they need to be tightened as they grow out with your hair. When I contacted her the first time I needed them tightened I felt like I was pestering her to finally tighten them. So second time around when I needed them tightened I only emailed once and got a reply the next day saying she would be in contact asap. Its been 12 days and I have had no reply and the extensions are falling out. They cost 250 and are supposed to last longer than this so I'm quite disappointed I didn't get my money's worth. But on the bright side I have found a more than willing lady, 100 euro cheaper who will put them in for me on Friday :)
    So basically she is good at what she does but her aftercare service is extremly frustrating and quite simply atrocious!

    Well, I couldn't get through to them at all. I even stopped to trying to contact them via their facebook page, which they update/updated daily. Absolutely no response. Not even, "sorry we are too busy".

    Hey

    just wanted to warn people to stay away from our little secrets shocking experience with them that is still going on today nearly 7 months since my first email to them still waiting on my order firstly was given a voucher for my birthday delighted with this decided to purchase hair extensions emailed melissa no reply rang and rang no reply texted no reply this went on for months and months I noticed in aug melissa was advertising a hair extensions course so I asked my friend to email her for details to see if melissa would reply within 24 hours her mail was answered got straight onto melissa to express my disaapointment she finally replied to say she never got any mail calls or texts thank god I kept all my mails and got a statement on my 02 account to show all attempts i made to calls still she said she never got these went ahead and finally got to order my extension piece paid a extra few bob on my credit card and that was fine December came and still no extension mailed melissa to let her know she said if was posted even though my [HTML]order[/HTML] was never completed on my account she said she will check her tracking orders of coarse my tracking no was missing melissa advised me that shell post one out straight away it is now 11th feb and still I have not received my order melissa won't answer my calls her phone isn't ringing any emails or any mails through her website she now has my voucher I spent aswell as extra money I paid towards my extension piece I'm sorry fir the king email about this I'm just so annoyed that she set up a company and sells vouchers but does not honor this or keep in contact I have been ignored now 2 and half weeks madness so girls if you do not want an experience like me I would stay away from our little secrets shocking bad company

    That is disgraceful. I fear for your order. I reckon a formal letter of complaint [sent by registered post so you have proof that she received it] stating that you will perform a credit card charge back for the extra amount and then a small claims court procedure for the initial voucher.

    That's what I'd do.

    Thanks so much ranger I know it us disgraceful i dropped them another email yest as her phone is not on just very annoying be ause I have dealt with them so much never had a problem I will defo look into that thanks again :)
