What would you do in quarantine?

At least this guy has made the best of it :)

Christiaan van Vuuren has been holed up in quarantine in a Sydney hospital for months but in many ways he's more connected to the outside world than ever.

Before being struck down with a multi-drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis in December last year, van Vuuren did not have a Facebook profile or Twitter account and had barely used YouTube.

But, after two stints in a hospital ward, the second of which is showing no immediate signs of ending, the 27-year-old Sydneysider has become an online whiz with a following that would leave many internet celebrity wannabes breathless.

That's Hilarious, I'd probably only manage a wankfest.

Judging from his video, I would say he does that too.

Like any white man, I too would rap about my experience

Edit: I think its funny how they refer to him as FULLY sick as opposed to half or kinda sick

Fully sick is an Australian term for "excellent".

Apparently its World TB Awareness day soon. I didnt actually know it was still so prevalent.
    Is it common in Ireland?

Its relatively rare. There are some new cases with the recent increased immigration, but most cases are treatable and not contagious. I think there are only two people confined to hospital because they have contagious TB, one guy has been there for something like 30 years.

Me? I'd become totally addicted to Boards.ie, then I'd undergo a lengthy stint in rehab to wean me off it.
