Boyfriend can't orgasm

Apologies if this weirds anyone out but here goes.

My boyfriend got a circumcision a month ago due to a medical problem called phimosis which prevents a man from retracting his foreskin. The operation went fine and he has recovered well but a new problem has arisen. After the initial healing period of four weeks we tried sexual activities and discovered that he can no longer orgasm, even through masterbation. Before the circumcision it took him longer than average to orgasm but it always worked eventually but now it just doesnt happen at all, no matter what he tries. He's really bothered about the whole thing.

Has anyone experienced this before and knows whats wrong? Or is there anything that can be done?

maybe there's psychological factor at play here. he might be anxious/worried about having sex after the operation on his delicate region

I'm not claiming to be a medical expert, but as far as I know, when a guy gets circumcised, the glands on his penis become somewhat less sensitive. Normally they would be covered by the foreskin but now they're not really as much so they will be rubbing against things like his underwear, jeans etc.

If it took him longer than normal beforehand, I suspect it will perhaps take longer than that now. However the more he stresses about it, the worse it will get.

If you's think it is a medical issue, a trip back to the doctor is in order. However if it's only been a month since the op, isn't that a bit soon?
