    Evening folks,

    Right - given that I don't have a fantastic concrete bunker in which to create some dedicated lipo explosion proof charging area, can anyone set me straight on the firestarting tendencies of our friends - Lipos!

    Joking aside - can anyone recommend a decent brand/type of lipo and give some practical advice on using them. I think I'm looking for a lower voltage lipo (not the 11v or higher - thinking 7.1v or 8.4v). What do I need to be aware of when charging them (I've heard the advice that I should charge these in a flowerpot or the like in case they overheat or do something dodgy!)? Do I need to fit anything to an aeg when using them (i.e. mosfet - or is there some sort of thing you install to stop the battery completely dying - isn't this a major no no)?

    Thanks for your advice folks - finally, I know these are hard to come by - do any of the Irish (Dublin area or within driving distance) retailers have these in stock?

    Much obliged people, much obliged. With your help I might manage to make the change to lipos without burning my gaff down around me.:D
