I have exactly the same feeling.........

No you couldnt do that (Be great if you could!) as the hardware used in games is not rewritable.

You could use it for developing your own games though ;)

As a collectors item, someone will get that magpie feeling and buy it for the sake of having it. It's currently at 10 quid.

If you wanted to play around with one for a laugh,
there are some free ones available online. Just google for "name of console devkit".

Would you not need some sort of traning before you could use it????

I could not just start making my own 32x games??

I'd imagine you'd want some experience in coding, C/C++ and the like (which I have only a slight grasp of..I'm pretty much set in my ways with fortran, and am therefore of zero interest to game developers :p)

though that stuff is probably coded in assembly language, which I have no clue about!

    .

I can see it ending for a good bit more than that.

If it doesn't get too expensive I may just magpie it myself :)

Unless of course Warren3 is looking to pick it up. In which case I'll stay away.

Thanks for your consideration but not sure if I will ever use it as my code writing skills are non exsistant........

It would end up just sitting in a bag in my tall boy of retro stuff

I will keep watching it out of interest!
