Nice to go as in somewhere to go for dinner, or somewhere to go for a walk/stroll type thing? For a restaurant there's a few places in Leixlip that do nice food- Miss Wongs, Al vitos, Leixlip house hotel. Or you could go nuts and book dinner in Carton House hotel which is just out the road on the way to Maynooth. I can't think of anywhere nice you could bring your girlfriend for a walk and propose there, certainly not somewhere I would recommend ( or else your gf would hunt me down and kill me). If you didn't mind travelling a bit though you could go yo Donadee forest park which is really nice.
