I've read lots of different info on these but am a little unsure of which to go for...

I already have an ipod which I would keep using for music so I really only want the iphone as a phone and also for some music, movies, photos/videos and accessing the internet for email and facebook. Would the 8gb be enough for this?

    All opinions welcome....:)

Probably but photos and videos can take up a lot of space. I'd go for the 16gb if you can. If you don't benefit from it now, you will later. Also keep in mind that the 8gb iPhone is the older 3g model.

Might be wise to wait for the next iPhone revision though, which should have twice the capacity for the same price.

Get as much memory as you can. You will be surprised how quickly you fill it up. I would go for the 16gb or the 32gb Iphone. You will stop using your Ipod once you get the Iphone up and running. There will be no point in carrying two music players around. Thats what I found anyway!!!!
