    Hi, basically wondering something.
Got my lip pierced a couple of months ago...first piercings....so I don't know how thus works:
will I need to remove the piercings to pass through security at airports + go on flights?

I've never heard of anyone removing their ear jewellery...but thought it'd be best to check anyway.

    Thanks

I doubt they'll ask you to remove it, I'd be suprised if they did, once they can see the piece of jewellery and they're happy you're not carrying anything you shouldn't you should be fine, I had a navel ring for ages and I never had to remove it, same with hair clips, I always have loads of little hair pins in and they always set off the detectors and they've never asked me to take them out (thank God) :D

The metal in piercings doesn't set them off. You'll have no bothers!
