    Hi All!

Anyone have any idea how I could go about sourcing multiple Copies of Windows 7 to install on a number of PCs for a Project I am involved in?

    - Just basically looking for a source, online or otherwise where this can be done cheaply and easily!

Do Microsoft offer any channel to buy directly from them at good rates and is there any discount for buying in bulk?

its not multiple copies of the operating system - its multiple licences that you want/need.

Ya, search Microsoft.ie I'm sure they have a list of official distributors for volume licensing and to get volume licensing I think you have to go through one of those distributors.
I haven't used Volume licensing since XP but it was so much handier than having loads of separate licenses.

If you require <= 10 copies then check out the Microsoft Action Pack.

They're meant to coming down on the action pack stuff in relation to doing tests and prob putting a specialist exam against it.

Raiser you're best option is to buy an open license agreement. Prob best to get with it with Software assurance also.

If you let me know where you are based I can get you a list of suppliers for MS software in that area.. As we've used a couple of them around the country.

Ok I've switched to Pc Pro in Cork at the moment for all our licensing.. I presume you have a base OS at the moment to run an upgrade on.

But according to the MS licensing site. The below are the people in Limerick.

If you have any questions give me a pm and I can give you the document on licensing document from MS the light version. Not that one MS give you:)
