Watched these again during the past week.
I forgot how bloody great they are (yet so bad)

I really love that they so do not take themselves too seriously, in making these.

Also Amy Smart is a queen.

    **** you Chev Chelios

Loved the first one, but the sequel just didn't work for me. It was all over the place... it would hit a peak then nose dive into the mundane for 10 minutes, then spike again momentarily (much like a heart rate monitor, heh!) Compared to the consistency and pace of the first it was very poor.

I usually like Statham, Transporter 1 & 2 as well as Crank are up there in my favourite action movies of all time, but his last 2 that I watched (Crank II and Transporter 3) where just woeful.

BTW, OP if you haven't already, watch "The Bank Job", it's probably Stathams finest film to date.

I did prefer Crank but liked the second precisely because it was so off the wall.
Any further though and I think that I would feel like you

I intend on getting the bank job, as I kep hearing that it is a great movie

They're beyond stupid, awful plots, ludicrous action scenes and are pretty batsh1t mental the entire way though

    I love em :D

I should have turned this trash off after the rape scene in the first one.

I only entered this thread as I was sure it said Clerks and Clerks 2. Pity.

At last the Daily Mail brigade raises it's head.

    I'm not so sure,

I was entertained watching them and thought they were better then the transporter films. But, all in all just a little too mad.

Strange cause I liked shoot em up and it's in a similar style.

Haha, wtf? :D What the hell are you pathetically trying to get at?

I was implying that anyone who took the sex scene seriously is the same type whom reads the Mail and no doubt got upset over the mere thought of the film Antichrist. Crank and it's sequel are completely over the top, balls to the walls insane films in which the notion of normality is throw on its head. If you seriously thought the sex scene was a vile rape scene then obviously then entire concept of the film went over your head.

    Is that you, Raging Bob?

Didnt you get banned the last time you tried to claim that Crank glorified rape?

Enjoyed Crank, and forced myself to finish Crank 2. The first 10m or so were bad enough to make me want to turn it off. I can understand wanting it to be action, but there was just too much random crap happening to make it worth watching. Novel idea pushed too far in the sequel into situational action sequences strung together very loosely as a plot.

Wait, I'm confused, there's a prize? All you've done is prove once and for all that you are Raging Bob.
