Hi guys i thought id post on this forum as its the place where i think i would get the most advice.
Basically im planning on going to Vegas in June for 15 days, plan on staying in New York New York casino for 10 days as it looks to have a lot of bars an restraunts to offer, has anyone on this forum stayed there and is it good?
Then i was browsing the internet and i came across http://www.silvertoncasino.com which only costs $42 per night and it looks a class Joint but is 3 miles from the strip, has anyone stayed here before?
Im really looking forward to the trip and plan on bringing over $4000 dollars to gamble with mostly playing Blackjack. Does anyone know what sort of comps i will get by playing min $25 blackjack for say a few hours a day? Ive been reading some sites and they say i should put all my food and bar bills on the room charge and that i should get comped these at the end of my stay. Is this true?

Jesus. 15 days in Vegas is an eternity, I couldn't imagine staying there that long. I was there for 8 nights once, thought I'd never get out of the place. If it was me, I'd break it up with a flight to LA, San Francisco, somewhere out of Vegas.

Stayed in NYNY last time I was there, last May. Nice place to stay, has a "smaller" casino feel to it. Didn't eat there much, but the bars are good. I'd recommend it as a place to stay.

Never even been there, sorry. 3 miles isn't a long way in Vegas terms.

Not sure about this - what I'd suggest is you ring the casino before you leave. Ask for the casino host office & ask them. They'll tell you honestly what rewards/comps you'd get for that sort of play.
