Where's the best Coffee Place in Dublin City Centre? I was a BIG fan of Bewleys on Westmorland Street, and then Barnies on Westmorland St (both since closed). I like Coffee Society on Liffey Street but it's small and often no seats available.

Butler's Chocolate shop on South William St. is great for watching life go by, as is Insomnia on Dawson St. but it's hard to find a Coffee place that ticks all the boxes!

I suppose it sorta depends on exactly what you're looking for...

Are you after really good coffee, or just a really nice coffee shop, like with a decent atmosphere, decent coffee, nice staff...

    The two are very different...

I suppose I'm looking for a place where the atmosphere is good, somewhere it's easy to relax without much hustle & bustle. You can't beat Bewleys' Westmorland street for taking your paper and getting lost in one of it's many crevices!

I wouldn't know decent coffee from tar, but my OH has worked in a few coffee shops and reckons they do the best coffee in Dublin city centre.

Just googled 3fe (I never knew Twisted Pepper had a Coffee Place!!!) Will be passing by there later today so looking forward to stopping in.

By the way, I was in Itsa Bagel in Dun Laoghaire yesterday which is great for atmosphere too. (As is the Costa Coffee at the top of Hughes and Hughes on Dun L. main street but I suppose tht will be closing soon (may already be closed)

Another great place, was there for the first time yesterday is West Coast Coffee just down the road from Pearse Station heading towards Grafton Street.

    Tnx
