PS3 wont work. Help!!!!

    Hi,

    My PS3 turned itself off out of the blue last night. There's still power going to the console as the red light is there. But everytime I turn it on, after about 2 seconds, the console beeps rapidly about 3 times and turns itself off. I've cleared the vents of dust, took out the hard drive which was dust free, tried a different plug socket and tried the power cable from my PC but with the same result.

    Does anyone know what's going on and how it's fixed as this is a pain in the arse.
