New Youtube Layout

The star rating system is out and "Like this" or "I Dislike this" is in.

The handy url box has disappeared and the url in the address bar is now about twice as long which is a bit annoying.

Overall it looks more cluttered than ever, way to go youtube.

One thing they've gotten right recently was HTML5 video coding. Once it loads, and it doesn't take long, the whole video is loaded. No more pausing and waiting for it to load.

Still in Beta though.

not to mention you don't need flash installed for html5 to work. i ****ing hate flash.

If ever I was going to see it before....I'm certainly not going to see it now...

I don't notice any difference to the youtube of old.
It still has the star system.
Or is what you are talking about going to be coming in affect soon?

I hate it ! comments,description are hard to read, all seems cluttered. Then there is the bug that some videos will open in fullscreen and cant be watched in the ''box''. Then theres the annoying auto-playlist (I know you can turn it off...) PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD LAYOUT :eek:

I've been using Youtube heavily enough for the past few days and haven't noticed too many changes.

If ads are annoying you on a video then you're just not looking good enough for another version. There's always at least 2-3 copies of a video.

I dont get it, i have the new youtube layout on one laptop and the old layout on different laptop. weird.
