Finding friends that you work well with

I think I've been way too picky about people in the past, either that or there's such a huge range of people around me, the people that i can click with long term are very small...

When i join a group, from what i can at least tell, i'm probably the least judgmental of people and tend to be friends with everyone even with groups tighten and people start bitch about the qualities of other groups however after a while i tend to find myself really having issues with just about everyone...

Do people generally find one small group of people that they get on well with all the time or do they put up with people who they have issues with. I'm not just talking about things like whistling or tapping or picking their nose or something i mean more deep personality definitions. Like not giving a **** about anything and not being arsed to do anything. Drink or partying being the center of life (which is fine by itself) but always trying to center everything else around it and conveying everything else to be boring or ****e (life/dublin/ireland/college/pub/job etc). Always having to be right and coming up with preposterous ways of getting around being wrong. Like "well everything is relative" or "well maybe". These aren't all from the same person mind you.

I'm just sick of not having groups of friends i can really relate to and work with and even more importantly, trust. I feel that every stage of my life i'm getting closer and closer to new groups of people (after all they say once you get to secondary school/college/work/clubs etc) that you'll find more like minded people but so far that number is very slim.

Would you say there us a real 'you'? I ask this because I know there are prople out there (including me) who don't really seem to have any set personality. They are like chameleons in that they change who they are depending on the company they are in. This is fine if you just want to get along with everyone, but it's no way to form strong friendships. So, are you like this?

Everyone has good points and bad points, including yourself (and me too). Try to concentrate on their good points, unless they have too many bad points. and yes, all my friends have their annoying bits - but they are my friends because their good points outweigh their bad. That doesn't mean I don't get annoyed with them at times though!
