Great deal alright! No there shouldnt be any more new ipod's until September, they usually have a lifespan of about a year before being updated, although the classic has been around in more or less the same guise for 2 and a half years, only updates have been to firmware and capacity

Its really weird to see an ipod this cheap. Even though its Smyths Toys, who are very reputible alarm bells are ringing for me. Apple products NEVER go on sale!

They do when they're getting ready to unveil new replacement models.

It's a red herring. All the stores are out of stock. There are none available at this price.

I got two from Tralee store, there was two more left also. Dundalk had one in stock yesterday too, none in any others...

I think you'll start a stampede. I was looking on their website where it gave stocks as either out or maybe but unlikely. It was all very uncertain and goes to show you're better off to ring up directly.
Great value! I bought one at the full price in January in Arnotts. Even during the sale there was no reduction . . . . c'est la vie.

They even delivered them to one of their stores nearer to me so worked out great!
