ive been asked to setup a website for a guy selling lots of property he owns so he is basically looking for a property portfolio. i usually use template monster for my templates but they don't have what im looking for
the sort of site im thinking would be like this http://propertyireland.net/

anyone know of any template websites providing a similar style. ;)

A template is generally just a set of static files. A site of this nature will most likely need to be database driven, so you're looking at a customised Content Management System for properties, not just a bloated design you can get from template monster.

What type of programming experience do you have, and you might get some ideas on what frameworks might be of use to you?

I agree, if you're not a developer templates won't help - templates only define what the website looks like and not how it behaves.

You might be better off installing Joomla with some property showcase extension, some of them are free:

after a bit of digging i found out that the propertyireland website is written in wordpress plugin all in one SEO professional so i think i will create the site with that. thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
