So who's going to this? It'll be the first match I shoot in ECSC, so looking forward to that, and the first outdoor match of the year, so nice practice for the Isle of Man trip. Should be a good one. I may yet be snowed under with college work, but definitely going to try to make it.

I am really looking forward to this!, first time at ECSC also and interested to see what kind the range is like.;)

I think all the details are being worked on at the moment and will be posted up shortly on one of the web sites!;)

I hear they've done a lot of work. Was talking to someone last summer who said it'd have a minimum of twelve working firing points when it re-opened, so it should be very nice now.

Booking is now available via www.rathdrumrpc.org and it'll be shot on the Megalink electronic targets. That'll be very interesting indeed.

Likewise, and on a single bull too. Good practice for Sinclair. :)

Just to add a thanks to East Coast Shooting Club for hosting this competition and to Rathdrum for the loan of the targets.

This match is the first of a number of qualifying matches for the World Championships in Munich. Between now and the end of May a number of matches to be shot on either electronic or six bull targets will be run to give everyone a good chance to qualify.

Calls for EoI's and qualifying scores for the various disciplines will be published later in the week.

Great to see a qualifier being run. My scores won't be up there (we'll see where they land now) but I'll look forward to seeing people qualify for it, and hopefully I'll be in a position for a world cup next year.

Dave its all down to the day!;), should be interesting to see how the range lets people perform!
At least we'll all get a better idea for the next one!;)

Not that I know of. East Coast is the continuation of Fassaroe who moved to Roundwood a few years back and set up a new range there when their lease ran out in Fassaroe.

Long standing club going back over twenty years.

Just a note for anyone using satnav to get there. The co-ordinates on the NTSA calendar and website are correct, but my satnav had me turning right into the laneway some 70 metres past the actual laneway .

There's just a low wall amd ditch there, so don't do as your satnav says :D

You drive in the laneway and follow it around past the farmhouse (the laneway swings to the right there). Follow it on and you'll see the car park ahead of you in to the left. It's just grass parking off the lane, but there's plenty of room and enough landys around to pull you out if you get stuck ;).

The 50m/100 yard firing point is the new green shed (tegral sheeting type) after the pistol range (a rusty red coloured building).

Chances are I've messed up the simple booking procedure so you might be saved :o

Just booked myself in for the 1:30 detail. See youse there!:D

No you're booked in fine and so is intershoot ;)

We had the 'Unknown' shooter booked for the benchrest pistol, but seeing as he was also on the 'unknown' firing point for a negative time period, my conscience was clear when I deleted him :D

You sometimes get that when you forget to click the 'confirm' button.

Let that be a warning, deletion is only a click away

    Only 9 points left now...

    4 at 12:00, 1 at 13:30 and 3 at 15:00.

If interest keeps increasing over the summer, we may need to start adding fourth details. That would be a neat turn-up!

Just so long as you're still around at 7pm to pack everything up and bring it all back to Rathdrum ;)

Or add it to the other end. When we get into five detail days or weekend long matches, then we're really talking!

No, East Coast want the morning for their own guys.

I'm planning a weekend of indoor/outdoor for the summer - 60 indoor on Saturday and 60 outdoor on Sunday. All on electronic :D

Nice one. I'm looking forward to the MNSCI weekend later on, 50m and 100yd. Never shot 100yd before, sounds like good fun.

That one's going to be tough when we get it properly set up. 20 minutes a detail and at least 200 competition shots .

Lot of working out to do first though.

200? Is it not just a 60+60 or a 60+40? Sounds interesting in any case!

demonloop has took fear and decided he's gonna stay at home instead!

Aparently there is an omnibus edition of Hollyoaks on that he wants to see as he missed one of the episodes through the week. I knew there was summat up with him this last day or so, as he was really crankie!

FLOYDSTER had said the range was going to have underfloor heating, and the fact that this is now not the case may have had some impact. Kidneys not what they used to be!! :o

Anywhos, guess i'll see some of you buggers down there!

As long as 'intershoot' and 'floydster' aren't booking a B&B again next time I'll be there for sure!

    Two's company and all that...

Looks like I'm not going to make it to the shoot on Sunday, as it turns out:eek:

(Apparently I've far too much work to do at home - and I really do need to hang on to those rapidly diminishing brownie-points!)

    Ah, well.....maybe next time.

Best of luck to the DURC Crew, the Rathdrum Posse, the Nordie Massive, and the Wilkinstown Brigade, and everyone taking part - Have a great days shooting - And let's see some more records broken.;)

    'Til the next one!:D;)
