Hi there. I am hoping to draw on the experience of others.

We are in the process of rolling out a nationwide collect and return laptop/pc repair service.

I'm looking into the most cost effective and rapid service from a courier company that would collect a laptop from any location in the ROI and deliver it to us in Tipperary. They would then return the laptop 2/3 days later.

From previous experience with courier companys has anyone any suggestions? I'll be ringing around tomorrow but heads up would be useful.

    Thanks in advance.

Tgat kind ot service level would imply you need one of the larger courier compnies

    DPD
    GLS
    fastway
    nightline

Are you going to insure the goods in transit?

With the value of the goods involved we would require insurance. When I know costs I may offer the customer choice of insured or not insured.

We use www.Cyclone.ie in our place... Overnight, anywhere in Ireland is about €12 for a laptop. Using them for over a year now and never had a problem with them...

DPD are probably the strongest on this service. - they used to do all of Dells collect / returns.

If the volume is large enough you would be looking at about €13 - €15 for collection & return combined.
